Breakfast served in our sunny "Garden Room" is always a treat, resplendent with homemade granola, yogurt, fresh applesauce, fruits, cereals, juices and, of course, freshly-baked pastries and daily-changing hot entrees

Whether your breakfast includes Whispering Coffee Cake, Orange Walnut Muffins, or Apple Cheddar Breakfast Pie, it is sure to be a memorable one.

Bon Appetit magazine recently requested Linda's recipe for Shaker Cranberry Pot Roast... New Hampshire Premiere Magazine was equally delighted, rating our food and service a "10". The inn is also the test kitchen for The Old Farmers' Almanac, and has been named one of the top 25 in the country by some of the most respected restauranteurs in the country.

Our guests, however, are our most prized 'critics'. As you relax by a cozy fire and delight in a meal that is as much a feast to your eyes as to your palate, you can make your own judgement! Indeed some of our guests have been so enthusiastic about our food as to forget themselves.

THE INN AT CROTCHED MOUNTAIN

In addition to her role as hostess, Rose stars as the chef preparing gourmet breakfasts for her guests. Her artistry combines an eye for enticing presentation with creative use of well-matched ingredients. Many of the vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers that she uses are grown on the grounds. The result is a delectable continental fare fused with culinary elements from her native Singapore. Even the most simple breakfast is well prepared and presented.

THE MANOR ON GOLDEN POND

Superb dining is at the heart of your experience at the Manor.

Afternoons, the Manor's English heritage is evident when tea is served in the library. Guests may enjoy their tea on the patio overlooking Squam Lake in the summer months, or by the wood-burning fireplaces in the library or living room when winter's chill arrives.

The Manor's breakfast is a welcome beginning to your day, whether you're planning an active day outdoors or a relaxing day at the beach.

An evening and the Manor is always memorable. The setting is relaxed, yet elegant, and the food outstanding. Each evening Chef Jeff Woolley creates a unique menu featuring New American cuisine that is a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. Complementing the Ala carte menu is our extensive wine list, which has received the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence.

Before or after dinner, relax in the Three Cocks Pub, our intimate piano bar with lots of dark oak paneling, small copper-topped tables, and numerous decorative roosters. A pianist appears every Saturday night during the winter and Friday and Saturday night during the summer and fall from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
To provide the utmost in intimate dining and attentive service, we do limit the number of guests we accommodate. Reservations are therefore necessary; we encourage you to make them when your reserve your room.
