NATCHEZ
(Southern Mississippi)

Longwood

Longwoods' completion was halted by the Civil War, but what was completed is truly amazing. Its octagonal shape is very elaborate and it has been preserved in its incomplete state.

Natchez Historic City Tour

Narrated motorcoach tour of over 50 antebellum houses and churches throughout this river city. The tour departs from the Natchez Visitor Center.

The Rosalie

This home is a National Historic Landmark. Daily tours are available along with a gift shop. Rosalie has a Federal Style of architecture and is an antebellum mansion.

The House on Ellicott Hill

Deemed the architectural gem of Natchez, it occupies the site where in 1797 Major Andre Ellicott, on orders from George Washington, defied Spanish authority and raised the American flag for the first time.

Auburn

This home is a mixture of a Federal style and an old Georgian style. It is a National Historic Landmark and was constructed by architect Levi Weeks for wealthy attorney Lyman Harding.

Canal Street Coffees
