ABINGDON MANOR

Abingdon Manor is one of the few Florence area lodging establishments to offer on premise evening dining and liquor service. The only AAA Four Diamond restaurant in South Carolina outside Charleston, Kiawah and Hilton Head.

Dinner Service:
Intimately lighted individual tables, imported crystal, Villeroy & Boch china, sterling silver, fresh flowers and the lyric melodies of Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald await dinner guests at Abingdon Manor. Entrees change daily depending on what is fresh and available. Richly textured with herbs and vegetables from the Inn's gardens, meals include amuse gueule, soup, salad, bread, sorbet, entree with accompaniments and dessert. Upcoming menus include such entrees as Coq au vin, yellow fin tuna with pineapple/papaya compote, herb crusted rack of lamb with a shallot/balsamic vinegar reduction, individual beef wellington and desserts such as key lime baked Alaska, chocolate mousse, tartes Tatin with cinnamon ice cream. Individual preferences and dietary restrictions are taken into consideration. Dinner begins at 7:30. Rates are $42.50 per person plus 7% tax and 18% gratuity.

Liquors, Wine & Beer:
Fully licensed for on premises liquor, wine and beer sales, Abingdon Manor is pleased to offer an assortment of premium products. Fine spirits and liqueurs are available in mini bottles. The wines have been carefully chosen and can be enjoyed in your room or with meal service.

Included in the room rate:
Evening turndown with chocolates. Early morning coffee and tea service, beginning at 7 a.m., on the guest room level. Full breakfast, served in the dining room, from 7:45-9:00 a.m.

Catering:
Quality food service has become a hallmark at Abingdon Manor. Menus vary, depending on the season and availability of locally grown items such as berries, herbs and produce. The expansive first floor encompassing approximately 4,000 square feet can be configured to accommodate groups of 5 to 125, and events ranging from private dinners to wedding receptions. Innovative menus are carefully crafted to suit tastes and budgets.

Picnics:
Enhance a day on the river or in the country with a hamper full of goodies from Abingdon Manor's kitchen. With prior notice, we can prepare a lite snack or a soup to nuts feast for you to take along. Priced from $10 per person.

Southern Continental Breakfast
Prepared in our kitchen, with fresh seasonal muffins, local fruit, Charleston tea, coffee and juices. Served in our elegant dining room, on the verandah or delivered to your room.

Low Country Afternoon Tea
One of the highlights of your day, featuring delights made by our staff using the best from Charleston's favorite cookbooks.

Evening Sherry in the Parlor
Share a private moment, finish your novel or make new acquaintances after dinner.

The John Rutledge House Inn provides a basket of freshly baked pastries served in your room, the ballroom or our courtyard.

THE RHETT HOUSE INN

Start the day with our delicious breakfast of pancakes, french toast, or eggs (menu changes daily), fresh fruit, and true southern grits. Let the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and home- made muffins be inspirational for a day of exploration.


TWO MEETING STREET INN

Two Meeting Street Inn offers....Gracious continental breakfast in our dining room, on the piazza or garden, or delivered to your room and Lowcountry afternoon tea, featuring elegantly presented local recipes, is a much-anticipated daily interlude.


VENDUE INN

A complimentary Southern breakfast buffet is served from 7am to 10am (11am on week-ends).

The Roof Top Restaurant and Bar - casual open air and enclosed dining overlooking Charleston Harbor and the Historic District. Evening entertainment.

The Kitchen House Restaurant - Plantation-style cooking, reminiscent of the old South. Open evenings, Tuesday through Saturday.
