BISSELL HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST
Our lovely dining room once hosted Albert Einstein for a dinner party! Guests converge to enjoy a candlelit full gourmet breakfast at 9am daily, at either of two tables set with antique Haviland limoges china, silver and crystal. Our three course breakfasts feature fruit such as strawberries with chantilly cream or baked pears, organic coffess & teas, a main course, fresh baked croissants and finishing touches such as passion fruit sorbet or peach-blueberry crisp!
As weather permits, guests may also be served on the front porch overlooking the gardens or poolside on the patio

CARTER HOUSE INNS
Restaurant 301 is a full service restaurant which is open nightly. It has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award and was given a Zagat rating. Frommer's Guide chose Restaurant 301 as one of the "Best Restaurants in California." The wine list, which include 3,500 wines, was heralded as the Best American wine list in the world by Restaurant and Hospitality Magazine. The menu includes a five-course prix fixe dinner, a regional dinner on Wednesdays, and fabulous, fresh meals made with local foods and greens picked from our garden. There is also a full bar and wine shop with 2000 vintages. Upon request, guests can dine privately in the wine shop when ordering the prix fixe dinner. A full breakfast is served here and is included with room rates

CASA LAGUNA INN
Some of the finest dining in Orange County is in Laguna Beach. Within walking distance of the Casa Laguna are Dizz's As Is and the Tabu Grill. Dizz's As Is's ever changing menu offers a traditional continental cuisine in an eclectic setting. A tranquil and tropical scene surrounds the fantastic prime steaks and seafood served at Tabu Grill. Favorites in town also include Woody's, the extraordinary alternative restaurant-bar, the sundried tomato café, another institution located in the heart of the village and the more elegant French 75 with its champagne and martini bar. For lunch, both Madison Square & Garden and Café Zinc delight locals as well as visitors. It will be our pleasure to assist you with reservations. A portfolio of menus is available in the Mission House Library. Many of the best local restaurants deliver to the Casa Laguna. You may wish to enjoy a leisurely meal in your room or one of the secluded patios around the hotel. On request, picnic baskets can also be prepared.

In the mornings, savor a full breakfast served to you in the Dining Room and Sun Room overlooking the garden. Breakfast includes Susan's special poached pears, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, home-made muffins, scones or coffee cake, gourmet entrees such as rasberry stuffed french toast, four cheese egg soufflé, or blurberry soufflé. Of course, breakfast always includes tea or freshly brewed Emma Nevada special blend coffee or an espresso, cappuccino, latte or mocha, made to your order.

The day begins at Glendeven with a homemade, freshly cooked breakfast brought
to your room in a basket or on a tray. Depending on your room and the weather,
you can choose to eat at a cozy spot inside or outside in the morning sun. Everything
here is homemade by caring cooks using innovative recipes and the finest ingredients
available. Glendeven's breakfasts consist of freshly squeezed juice, a hot or
cold fruit dish and a hot egg speciality. Warm muffins, coffee cakes or scones
combine tastefully with teas, cocoa, or locally roasted coffee.

GLOVELAND HOTEL
The Groveland Hotel Restaurant features outstanding cuisine prepared from California seasonal ingredients. Most herbs are from the hotel's garden. Our Chef and his staff orders produce fresh from a nearby distributor and makes daily trips to local farms.

Our focus continues to concentrate on a great wine list which includes award-winning selections from California's Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Central Coast Regions as well as French, Italian, Australian, Chilean, New Zealand and Spanish Vintners.
Our 1849 adobe building is ideal for our Wine Cellar with its walls made of local stone. There are three cellars and the constant temperature is 55°. The Victorian Room's Wine Cellar has received the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for our outstanding wine list. We continue to add wines to our cellar based on guest suggestions and our tastings held at the hotel to provide an opportunity to sample our wines without risk.
Our outdoor courtyard provides the perfect venue for summer evening dining or a delightful luncheon for your special event. The warm summer evenings are magnificent in the Courtyard. It's a most romantic place with its lovely gardens, candlelit tables and nostalgic lamppost lighting.
Fine wines and beers aside, we are most proud of our mouthwatering meals. The Victorian Room Restaurant is pleased to present an exclusive series of special menus including seasonal or holiday themes and unique menus honoring outstanding chefs and regional cuisine.

GRAPE LEAF INN
Breakfast at the Grape Leaf Inn is an exquisite culinary experience, not just
another morning meal. From the first cup of steaming coffee, ground from beans
blended and roasted especially for the Inn by an award winning roastery to the
four course gourmet breakfast, created from the freshest locally grown produce
and herbs (most grown in our own gardens)- all are prepared with imaginative
flair by the owner/chefs (trained by the Culinary Institute of America and Mom.
A typical breakfast may begin with fresh squeezed orange juice, followed by
our signature Banana Oatmeal Creme Brulee. As an entree you may be served white
chocolate toasted macadamia nut pancakes topped with our Grape Leaf Inn fresh
blackberry syrup with a side of fresh maple pecan sausage. The gourmet experience
may end with a palate cleansing dish of home-made mango papaya sorbet .
After a relaxing day of wine tasting or touring the Redwood Forest, warm double
chocolate chip cookies, along with fresh coffee and teas will await you until
its time for our nightly wine & cheese tasting in our one-of-a-kind Speakeasy.
Before dinner, step down the secret stairway hidden behind a bookcase to the
Speakeasy where you will taste the finest Sonoma County wines accompanied by

of your choice. Fresh fruit with homemade granola, fresh plump raisins from
local growers and delicious creamy yogurt is a typical starter. Hot entrée’s
vary daily with fare such as: Vegetable Strata, Cheese Blintzes with Raspberry
Sauce, Chili Corn Souffle or Eggs Florentine. Home made breads are a delicious

an 1830's pine harvest table. For those who prefer to take in the view and morning
air, outside seating is also available. Although our breakfast varies daily
and seasonally, a typical menu might include a fresh fruit platter or Arlene's
famous Baked Pears, freshly baked English Tea muffins, and our delicious Spinach
Mushroom Pesto Quiche. To complement the baked items, we also offer cereal,
granola and yogurt. You may start off the day with coffee, juices and an assortment
of herbal teas which will be waiting for you as you arrive. We will be happy

THE BALLARD INN
Cafe Chardonnay serves creative wine country wine cuisine in a relaxed and
elegant setting. Our wine list features award winning vintages from local vintners
here in Santa Barbara wine country.
After graduating from the California Culinary Academy, Chef Kazali began his
career in San Francisco in such renowned restaurants as the Campton Place and
La Folie. He then relocated to Boston for a sous chef position at the acclaimed
Amborsia on Huntington. Chef Kazali later helped to open and serve as chef de
cusine at the James Beard award winning Blue Ginger, where he worked closely
with Chef Ming Tsai. Following recent stints at Gary Danko, MC², and Ozumo
in San Fransico, Chef Kazali has returned to his native Santa Barbara County.
He looks forward to sharing his unique and globally inspired approach to cooking
with the Santa Ynez wine country at The Ballard Inn. He is particularly inspired
by the variety of local wines, many of which pair so beautifully with Pacific
Rim cuisine.

THE BED & BREAKFAST INN AT LA JOLLA
We offer a full Gourmet Breakfast each morning, which is served on bone china,
antique silver, and fine linen. Our breakfast is served from 8:00am to 9:30am
in our Dining Room, and in the summer months upon request can be served in Garden
area. The Breakfast is included in the rate.
A Picnic Basket to add the finishing touch to your day at the Beach or in the

THE HONOR MANSION
Breakfast at the Mansion is a culinary treat. You may start with a Cappuccino,
or perhaps a Cafe Latte, but always with fresh juice and freshly ground gourmet
coffees and a full assortment of teas and cocoas. Next will follow two to three
courses consisting of fruit dishes and entrees such as Caramel Apple French
Toast or Mansion Eggs Benedict (a real favorite among guests and which is featured
in the Honor Mansion Cookbook).
Whatever you experience, you can be sure that it will be fresh, plentiful,
and tastefully served on the Mansion's antique china, silver, and crystal.
Weather permitting, the bistro tables on the Koi Pond deck will be set so those
who choose to may enjoy breakfast to the sounds of the waterfall and the warmth
of the morning sun glistening through the Redwood trees surrounding the pond.
